Hallo meine lieben Bastelfeen, ich freue mich sehr, dass Ihr bei mir vorbeischaut. Heute ist ein besonders kreativer Donnerstag für mich, denn ich darf als Gastdesigner die Mädels vom Creating Kindness Design Team unterstützen. 

Das Thema des Monat ist: Touch Of Metal!

Hello my dear craft fairies, I am very pleased that you stop by. Today is a particularly creative day for me, because as a guest designer I am allowed to support the girls from the Creating Kindness Design Team. Yippiee! The theme of the month is: Touch Of Metal! 

Ein super spannendes und auch ein schönes Thema, oder Mädels?

Denn wer von uns steht nicht auf einen Hauch von Edelmetall?! Gold, Silber mit oder ohne Bling-Bling... Ja, ich hatte also die Qual der Wahl und habe mich für etwas Gold entschieden! Wobei für meine Karte wäre auch Silber, Kupfer, Glitzer möglich und eine tolle Alternative! Aber nichts leuchtet so schön in der Frühlingssonne, wie Gold!

A super exciting topic! Because who of us does not love a touch of fine metal? Gold, silver with or without bling-bling ... Yes, so I was spoiled for choice and decided to go for gold! Although my card would also be silver, copper, glitter and a great alternative! But in the spring sun, nothing seems as beautiful as gold!  

Bei bei uns im Rheinland ist so langsam aber sicher der Frühling im Anmarsch, mit allem was dazu gehört! Mal scheint die Sonne, mal regnet es wie verrückt! Da habe ich mich einfach vom Wetter gleich inspirieren lassen und gestaltete diese blumige Geburtstagskarte mit einem Hauch Sonne und viel Wasser im Hintergrund. 

With us in Germany ( in the Rhineland exactly) comes so slowly the spring, with everything that belongs to it! Sometimes the sun is shining, sometimes it's raining! I just let myself be inspired by the weather and designed this floral birthday card with a touch of sun and lots of water in the background.

Kurze Info zur Technik und Materialien:

Als erstes habe ich ein paar Kleckse in Bermudablau auf einem Stück Aquarellpapier verteilt und nachdem das Papier trocken war, prägte ich es mit der Prägeform Struktureffekt.

Danach embosste ich die Blumen aus dem Stempelset In Blüten Gerahmt in weiß und kolorierte es mit dem Write Marker in Flamingo-Rosa. Da ich die Blüten frei platzieren und etwas mehr in den Vordergrund bringen wollte, schnitt ich sie aus und ordnete sie dann zu einem Kranz. Der Spruch - diesmal in Englisch, kommt aus dem Stempelset Broadway Birthday.

Dann fehlte noch der kleine Hauch vom Gold, also nahm ich das zarte Metallic Garn und binde ich ihn ein paar Mal um den Hintergrund der Karte. Auch den Banner aus den Framelits Formen Rankenrahmen stanzte ich in Gold aus und platzierte ihn unter den Blüten. 

So entstand diese vielleicht nicht die schnellste, aber unkomplizierte Karte.

Short information about techique and materials:

First, I spread a few blobs of bermuda blue on a piece of watercolor paper, and after the paper was dry, I emboss it with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Afterwards I embossed the flowers from the stamp set Floral Frames Stamp Set in white on waterpaper and colored it with the write marker in Flamingo. Since I wanted to place the flowers freely and bring something more into the foreground, I cut them out and then arranged them into a wreath. The sentiment comes from the stamp set Broadway Birthday.
